Flow through the high pressure gun occurs by squeezing the trigger on the gun. These actives the actuator rod by lifting the ball offs the seat, allowing the pumped liquid to flow through the valve body chamber in the gun. A special double linkage provides increased mechanical advantage for ease of operation. Releasing the trigger shuts off the flow.

A special safety latch locks the gun closed to prevent unintentional operation when left unattended. These latches are colored in different models.

Note: For safety and protection of the pump and system, an unloader valve must be with a high pressure trigger gun. When the gun is shut off, pressure spikes could result in severe damage to the pump or other components in the system without this device.

This is a pressure sensitive unloader. It is designed for systems with high pressure pump, nozzle and trigger gun.

This unloader valve holds established systems pressure in the discharge line when the trigger gun is closed or the nozzle is clogged, by by-passing the unrequited flow. It retunes to establish system pressure with out delay upon squeezing the trigger gun.

Ideally the by-pass line should be directed to a reservoirs or tank. It is not recommended to connect the by-pass line to the inlet port of the pump.

All safety valves are either made of brass or stainless steel.

Safety valve is very important accessory and it prevents major accident, in case of event of any problem because of high pressure built up in line. It is standard on all PressureJet high pressure washers for the temporary relief of excess systems pressure. It will fit most other major brands of high pressure systems without adapters or modifications.

Normally, safety valve operates very rarely but it is very essential accessories. Where pressure adjustment is required frequently, one should not use safety valve to set as per requirement. The safety relief valve is the designed weak point in the high pressure washer. If the unloader malfunctions, the safety relief valve will open and relieve system pressure safely.

PressureJet manufactures helical spring and disc spring operated safety valves.

If pressure relief valve is fitted as secondary safety device, then Safety Valve is not required.

Nozzles can be described as convergent (narrowing down from a wide diameter to a smaller diameter in the direction of the flow) or divergent (expanding from a smaller diameter to a larger one). The nozzle is the restriction at the end of the wand that creates the pressure. Nozzles have different spray patterns that can affect the width and strength of the spray. For instance, the 40-degree nozzle delivers a flat spray of about 40-degrees. There's also a 25-degree and the most popular 15-degree nozzles. Caution operators about the 0-degree nozzle. It can cut into wood and cause damage.

Operators of sewer and tube cleaning equipment need both hands free to feed or retract the hose in the sewer line. Foot operated valve allows hands-free control. The apparatus comprises a valve in a housing attached to a water pipe fitting. A seal is provided to minimize water leakage of the unit. A fixed center rod is surrounded by a moving outer wall piston which is driven by water pressure differential. A series of small water exhaust holes are positioned at the based of the apparatus. Also, provided are a series of apertures from the piston interior to the flexible tube to the foot valve in order to provide pressurization to the foot pump and the extra pressure necessary to open the valve.
